The X-PV workshop is scheduled to take place from 29 to 31 January 2025 at the PROMES laboratory in Odeillo.
This event will facilitate collaboration between research communities working on the use of photovoltaic cells in challenging conditions. The event will facilitate knowledge transfer between laboratories engaged in the production, characterisation and deployment of these cells in diverse sectors. Furthermore, participants will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights from neighbouring communities facing similar challenges.
The programme will be structured into four thematic half-days, each dedicated to a specific family of systems:
Concentrated photovoltaic systems,
Space photovoltaic systems,
Hybrid systems,
Thermophotovoltaic conversion.
The objective of the workshop is to reinforce collaboration between French laboratories and to stimulate new, innovative research projects focusing on the utilisation of solar energy in unconventional conditions.
The event will be held in Odeillo (66), on the premises of the PROMES laboratory, which is renowned nationally and internationally for its expertise in concentrated solar energy.
